Generations of artists regarded as founders of the genre, including Boris Vallejo, Rodney Matthews, Greg Hildebrandt, Michael Whelan, Philippe Druillet, HR Giger, Jeffrey Catherine Jones, and Frank Frazetta are featured within its pages.
The soft-cover edition shown here was printed in 1991. Three columns of text translated into German, English and French accompany each of the artists artwork. In Boris's case four of his paintings are featured.
