Originally a movie poster for National Lampoon's Vacation a comedy film series based on John Hughes' short story Vacation '58 that was originally published in National Lampoon magazine. This version shows the full image without text being applied.

At one point Peter Parker tries to rid himself of his spider powers but instead grows four extra arms. In search of a doctor to cure him, he bumps instead into the Lizard, who is a doctor but has no wish to do Spider-Man any favours.

This was commissioned by Penthouse Comix. They asked for something funny, so Julie came up with a little joke. The heroine is battling for her life with one of Lilith's daughters, but all the hero is interested in is lifting her skirt. The second snake-woman was added as an afterthought, a kind of second punch line because the picture was intended as a wraparound cover.

This was one of the first paintings by Boris and Julie to be executed seperately, then combined digitally. Boris painted the man, julie worked on the woman.

Trading Card commissioned by The Topps Company, Vampirella? 2nd ?1995. The artist really loves the feeling of being outdoors in the woods at night, and this was a chance to express much of that. When looking at it now, she can almost feel the wind and hard ground.

Boris came up with the overall layout and 'message', and the idea of showing the character in silhouette; Julie took it from there and really enjoyed playing with the textures. The character is one of Ghost-Rider's fellow biking avengers.

One of the artist's favorite characters. 'I still think it's funny to see a real person in metal they're naked but it's alright to look. And with soft metal there is an inbuilt contrast, it's hard and soft at the same time. The effect is a bit like mercury. Some people call it metal-flesh. Oil and Acrylic 11 x 15 inches.

A detail illustration which was part of an experiment to paint the figure and background seperately, then combine them digitally. Boris and Julie both agreed that although the experience was enjoyable, the traditional way was easier!
