Chess King was a men's clothing retailer based in the USA. Founded in 1968 by the Melville Corporation. It had, by the mid-1980s grown to over 500 stores, however after a long decline the chain was forced to close in 1995.

Boris and Julie worked together on a series of images for the Chamber of Fear advertising campaign commissioned by Nike. The series of Adverts were distributed in various media forms and developed for nikebasketball.com. The Chamber of Fear was a combination of video game, pop culture, and RPG gameplay to promote the soon-to-be NBA sensation Lebron James. Boris and Julie continued their association with Nike producing Without Fear to celebrate womens participation in sport.
