For this book cover Julie wanted to capture a feeling of the love and wonder these scientists feel for what they are studying, which is the breed of winged humanoids flying above. Their awe and bliss is reflected in the colour of the sky which was suggested by the Art Director.

According the Dreams (page 20) This painting was done as wrap-around vinyl album cover. I have been unable to find this album or the artist involved.

In Germanic mythology, Celis, daughter of the sorceress Uslani, was the most beautiful female woman in the kingdom. When a band of savage flying warriors attempted to steal her as a bride for their wicked king, Uslani hid Celis in the woods and changed her into a deer.

Ta Breith has discovered the hipbone of Baisnath.This titanic beast was apparently killed in the explosion that tore A Fwa Nes apart. Flying scavengers have picked the bone clean.

Trading Card commissioned by NFL Quarterback Club, Inc. Emmitt Smith was a trophy winner the year this was painted, hence his depiction as Atlas. He is also a very happy, exuberant character, which has been captured well. Oil and Acrylic 11 x 15 inches.

Julie enjoyed the blend of past and future in this painting and the sense that this place is a crossroad of time and dimension. The empress is conjuring a new world into being by the power of pure thought, which is what Julie rather enjoys doing with her paintbrush. Oil and Acrylic Size: 15 x 20 inches (38 x 51 cm)

THE END OF THE RESTLESS SLEEP: Its creators named it Eekhrom, meaning Undestroyable. They died leaving the restlessly sleeping metal beast to wait. Deep within, its dark mind held a tiny glow of belief that some day, the Awakener would come.

This spirited drawing of woman and horse merging as one is an interior illustration for Ladies: Retold Tales Of Goddesses And Heroines. The stories were written by his first wife Doris.

This is a personal painting by Boris of the competitive bodybuilder Erika Mes who was placed first in several prestigious bodybuilding competitions throughout the 1980's. Erika flew from the Netherlands to model for the painting. Boris stored the uncompleted painting for five years, until suddenly remembering to complete it!

This painting depicts the Siberian myth of Es, the white bearded Sky God who by hurling thunderbolts into mountains created the first humans, a split to the right became a woman, a left split became a man. The illustration appears for July in the 1990 Mythology Calendar

Back in the day advertising agencies would commission several artists to design posters for the same film, inevitably many were not chosen, this painting probably for a Crocodile Dundee movie was not used.

Eurydice was the wife of musician Orpheus, who loved her dearly; on their wedding day, he played joyful songs as his bride danced through the meadow. One day, Aristaeus saw and pursued Eurydice, who stepped on a viper, was bitten, and died instantly.

Gelvasta, the ruler of darkness in Latvian mythology, planted seeds in the center of the earth during the time before the sun came into being. The seeds grew into an enormous, demonic tree with branches so thick and tall that it threatened to cast the world into darkness once again. The sun brought the champion Cesis out of the sea to destroy the tree and restore the sunlight. His enormous power came from his ankle-length hair and magic silver ax. It took Cesis five centuries to complete the task.

The first version of the concept of Good vs Evil. It was deemed too violent for the Franklin Mint's demographic, so the art directors asked for a softer variant.
