At the suggestion of Scott Usher at Greenwich Workshop, Julie decided to try out painting some horses.

The Vallejo/Palumbo team finally gained the impetus to complete the project when beginning in November 2007 Heavy Metal Magazine featured four Tarot paintings per issue over the next twenty-two issues, ending in May 2011.
