As Henry McCoy, Beast
was one of the original X-Men. He is as clever as he is strong, though not infallible. He acquired his
fur through an experiment on himself to enhance his original mutant powers. His appearance is deceptive but
the Dark Beast. his alternate self, is every bit as mean as he looks.
