Notes regarding 1996-Marvel Masterpieces '96...

1996 Fleer/SkyBox Marvel Masterpieces. Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell created the artwork for the entire set, including its inserts.
The base set of 100-cards is divided into three sections.

CHARACTERS: The first 54 cards are all about different Marvel characters.

GENESIS CARDS: display the same character as they evolved into three different forms over the decades

LEGACY CARDS: Examine ten of the rivalries between the characters

DUEL CARDS: Combine two of the rivals in combat into a single image.

DOUBLE IMPACT: Six dual-sided cards contain one of Boris's charcters on one face, with another character painted by Julie on the other.

GOLD GALLERY & PROMO: These nine cards are surrounded by a gold foil 'picture frame', the promo cards are identical except the lower left corners of the cards were cut by the manufacturer.

ART REDEMPTION: Nine cards conveyed the message 'Congratulations! You have just won an original piece of painted art from the Marvel Masterpieces 1996 set!'.
These cards could be redeemed for the original artwork on the face of the card.
It must be presumed that all cards were redeemed, therefore, I cannot verfify how these cards appeared or even if the cards displayed are the correct images.
